We’re a small volunteer nonprofit. No paid staff — just people who believe everyone deserves a full shelf and a full plate.
Hunger and illiteracy show up in every community. We do what we can where we can — starting with books students can check out and carry home.
Bread
No one thrives on an empty stomach. We bring people together to provide meals and essentials to those who need them.
Books
Reading opens doors. Our active program — the Katie Turney Memorial Book Fund — stocks Durant High School’s library with young adult fiction each August.
How we work

- Over 1,100 young adult titles funded since 2014
