Katie Turney Memorial Book Fund donates to Durant High School’s library
The fund continues Katie’s love of reading by putting new young adult fiction on Durant High School shelves — books students can check out and carry home.

Our mission
BreadAndBooks.org is volunteer-run. We promote literacy for children and young adults, and we bring people together to provide meals and essentials to those in need.
Katie Turney Memorial Book Fund
Each August, around Katie’s birthday, gifts go to the Durant High School library so teenagers can find books that fit them.
Since 2014, donations have funded over 1,100 young adult fiction titles.
